Data collected

Analytics (with your consent)

If you accept cookies via the banner, Google Analytics 4 (through the Site Kit by Google plugin) collects:

  • Pages visited and visit duration
  • Referrer (the site you came from)
  • Browser type, operating system, screen size
  • Approximate location (country / region) — your IP is anonymized by Google
  • Client identifier (_ga cookie, valid for 2 years)

No data is sent to Google until you give your consent (Google Consent Mode v2).

Comments

When you leave a comment:

  • Your name, email, and optional URL are stored in the WordPress database
  • Your IP address is recorded for anti-spam moderation
  • The comment content is sent to Automattic Inc. (Akismet service) for spam filtering

Comments and their metadata are kept indefinitely (unless you request deletion).

Server logs

The host (Infomaniak SA, Switzerland) keeps standard access logs (IP, user-agent, requests) according to its own policies.

  • Consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR): analytics
  • Legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f GDPR): spam protection

Transfers outside the EEA / Switzerland

  • Google (Analytics): United States, covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework
  • Automattic (Akismet): United States, covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework

Your rights

Under the GDPR (EU) and the FADP (Switzerland), you have the right to:

  • Access your data
  • Request rectification or deletion
  • Object to processing
  • Withdraw your consent at any time (“Cookies” link in the footer)
  • Receive your data in a structured format (portability)
